Mario Tubo nera è una lampada da poltrona inclinabile in cui ogni regolazione avviene attraverso il movimento diretto della struttura. Una base triangolare sostiene la lunga asta mobile, creando un sistema completamente meccanico che permette di modificare la posizione della lampada e portare la luce più vicino o più lontano dal punto da illuminare.
Una pressione del piede consente di inclinare la struttura, mentre basta un dito per sollevarla e riportarla nella posizione desiderata. L'asta può essere montata nella base in entrambi i versi e il portalampada magnetico può essere collocato liberamente lungo la struttura, aumentando ulteriormente le possibilità di regolazione. La finitura nera mette in evidenza la geometria essenziale di Mario Tubo e il suo carattere deciso.
Il faretto completa il sistema con due agganci magnetici: il primo lo unisce al portalampada e il secondo alla sfera magnetica in dotazione. Questa configurazione permette di ruotarlo e inclinarlo per indirizzare con precisione il fascio luminoso. Posizionata accanto a una poltrona o a un divano, Mario Tubo offre così un controllo completo sulla posizione e sulla direzione della luce.
