Mario Tubo gialla reinterpreta la lampada da poltrona attraverso una struttura inclinabile e una luce completamente orientabile. La base triangolare e la lunga asta formano un sistema meccanico essenziale, studiato per avvicinare, allontanare e posizionare la sorgente luminosa in funzione delle diverse esigenze.
La struttura può essere inclinata con una leggera pressione del piede e sollevata con un dito per riportarla nella posizione desiderata. L'asta può inoltre essere inserita nella base in entrambi i versi, mentre il portalampada magnetico si sposta liberamente lungo la struttura. In questo modo è possibile intervenire direttamente sulla posizione della luce senza ricorrere a snodi o regolazioni elettroniche. La finitura gialla accentua il carattere grafico e originale della lampada.
Un doppio aggancio magnetico completa il sistema di regolazione del faretto: il primo lo unisce al portalampada, mentre il secondo si collega alla sfera magnetica in dotazione, permettendo di ruotarlo e inclinarlo per orientare con precisione il fascio luminoso. Accanto a una poltrona o a un divano, Mario Tubo offre così una luce direzionale che può essere adattata facilmente alla posizione e all'attività del momento.
